Detroit FEM Event: “"Beyond Borders: Exploring Mobility Challenges and Trends"”
On Your Mark, Get Set, Trends! The Detroit Chapter of the Forum for Expatriate Management invites you to our next event, “Beyond Borders: Exploring Mobility Challenges and Trends”, on August 10th.
Conor Schoemer, GMS, Principal, of Mercer, will present the results of the latest 2023 Worldwide International Assignment Policies and Practices survey which addresses the most critical policy and practice elements of international assignments.
Conor will also overview the 5 key mobility trends seen in the industry. We will then get reactions and input from Global Mobility leaders who are on the ground, dealing with many of the following mobility challenges:
- How are mobile workforces changing?
- What are the trends in administering mobility programs?
- Is assignee experience a priority at your organization? What are your top priorities to enhance the international assignment experience? How do you define assignment success?
- Do you have a formal remote work policy or guideline? What has been global mobility’s involvement in determining Remote Work policies within your organization?
- What factors cause an assignment to fail?
- How flexible are employers to accommodate an increasingly diverse assignee profile population?
