Taking care of Global Mobility Professionals

During this panel-discussion we will reveal in an interactive way the results of the global survey.

The Survey focussed on GM and HR (who manage GM work within their role), in order to better understand the areas of opportunity to transform their contribution, the effectiveness of the GM function within their organisations and to enhance the wellbeing of GM professionals.
The research has been commissioned by Expatise Academy in response to feedback from their Global Mobility members that many are faced with increasingly challenging environments in supporting their organisation’s mobility programme.

Why has this Survey has been initiated by GM leaders?

Expatise Academy chair a Platform Multinationals (Netherlands/Belgium) Global Mobility network members group and they have commissioned this research.
Over the past two years, members have reported a significant increase in requests by their organisations and employees for cross-border remote working from anywhere.
This has significantly increased GM’s workload complexity and volumes. In parallel, other pressures on GM have been growing compliance scrutiny, ongoing budget constraints, cost control, speed of response, and demands for sustainable mobility and international talent/expatriate wellbeing.
It is the perception that these changes and challenges are not exclusive to GM professionals in Europe, and we use this research opportunity to explore these perspectives with GM professionals worldwide.

*Research team

To achieve this, Ernst approached Santa Fe and Crowe to co-develop a strategic, objective survey, that reflects different industry and regional perspectives from within the Global Mobility industry.
The research team consists of the Netherlands based Expatise Academy (Ernst Steltenpöhl), Crowe’s Global Mobility Workforce Advisory practice (Dino Jangra, Partner and Global Chair), together with Santa Fe’s Consulting team. Crowe, a global tax accounting and advisory organisation present in 150 countries, have kindly agreed to host this Survey.
